A Peoria native, Bart has been featured in original Broadway casts of Tony-nominated The Civil War, Dracula (starring in the role of Texan Quincey Morris) and Tony-nominated Hands on a Hardbody. He also played the iconic role of Jean Valjean in both National Tour and Broadway casts of Les Misérables. As a singer, he is a veteran vocalist (since 2002) for the Gold/Platinum selling symphonic progressive rock band Trans-Siberian Orchestra. TSO has sold over 10 million concert tickets and 10 million concert albums and plays to 1 million fans each season. Billboard Magazine ranked TSO the top 25 touring artists of the decade. National Tour credits include: Cats (Gus/Growltiger), The Civil War (1st National w/Larry Gatlin and John Schneider) and Les Misérables. He has performed at renowned regional theatres including Paper Mill Playhouse, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Alley Theatre, Ford's Theatre (Helen Hayes nominee) and the Barter Theatre. Also, Bart had the distinguished honor of performing for President George W. Bush at the National Theatre in Washington D.C. along with Maya Angelou, Hal Holbrook, Tricia Yearwood and Clay Aiken. Bart can be heard as the voice of "Gaspard's Papa" in the animated series for Disney Jr. "Gaspard and Lisa".
